Great Budds House is surrounded by beautiful open countryside next to Ightam Mote (National Trust), it’s the perfect, private, exclusive use, dry hire wedding destination.

Unchanged from its original rustic aesthetic, the outstanding Grade II listed 18th century timber framed barn still has marks on its beams from the carpenters that originally constructed it.

Alongside the historic barn, the Cart Lodge & Croquet Lawn are also licensed for outdoor wedding ceremonies. Marrying on the Willow lawn under the rose gazebo or the Oak lawn by the pond are also available, depending on your needs.

With exclusive use of 14 acres of gardens and grounds (ample space to find your ideal photo shoot opportunity…), a wedding coordinator will be included in your package to help visualise, plan, implement the wedding of your dreams. Your wedding coordinator will come from the renowned Wedding Dolls, who will provide a professional hand, conceptualising, planning, and managing your perfect day.

They don’t specialise in a particular style instead they get to know you and your preferences and personality, creating a day that reflects your character and wows your guests.

Your package will include a 2 day exclusive hire of the entire venue, featuring the barn; which can seat up to 90 guests (with a further 30 guests in the evening) and private rental of our Oast House accommodation.

The Oast house provides accommodation for up to 10 people and includes a honeymoon suite.

This beautiful building boasts the luxurious perks of a boutique hotel with the privacy of a holiday home, featuring an open-plan kitchen, dinning & lounge. It also offers a heated outdoor pool and patio area, making it ideal for pre & post wedding celebrations with family and friends.
